I created these ads for Amazon.com to use on the MSNBC site. I did all of the design and graphics in addition to coding them. (Note: The smaller two ads were only displayed to IE users, so they don't work well in all browsers. I also modified a little of the code to make them fit on this page.)
Problems solved
MSNBC had specific requirements for the ads they run on their site. They had to be a certain size, both in terms of resolution and file size. We weren't allowed to use animated gifs for the longer midpage ads, but were allowed to use JavaScript — so I used a third-party script that creates animated text to draw the user's attention. The ads also don't just go to some random Amazon page — they can be used to search or browse through Amazon's music store. Go ahead and try them — they should still work.
